You're going to have a seriously bad time against karma, Dont attempt it. Be extremely careful with this matchup. Hard matchup. Early game, she will poke your adc down very fast, and engaging against her is even worse. Pick your moment to All-In very carefully. Get out of the snare and jump on her. Her shields and movement speed are very, very annoying early game. This is a skill match so you can't be throwing Q and E at the wind.
Karma can poke on a relatively short cooldown with her q. However against Pyke I would say her greatest strength would be to hold her mantra and mantra W you for sustain if you ever engage on her. Not only does she gain HP from mantra w but engaging through her towards her carry with your E allows her W to land and lock you down near her carry. This can lead to bad situations. I recommend engaging with W into a close range Q and E her back towards your carry to avoid instant followup damage from enemy carry.
NEW 9. She has alot of damage and CC. Stay out of range from her. Skill matchup. Not a great matchup for a melee champion like Shen.

Try to fight her ADC and not her and the lane becomes easier as her defensive tools to help her ADC are lacking compared to her offensive tools to fight you.
Keep in mind she doesn't scale as well as you do! Karma can easily poke freely and her only true CC, W has a 2 second tether, easily outlasting Spellshield or breaking it with the damage. But if Karma ends up behind in lane, she won't have the damage to break Morg's spellshield.

You're trying to dodge her Q while moving in and out of your W range. If she's good, she'll just mitigate your W with her E. Be careful of her all-in with W. Be careful, her stun can lead you to death. Laning phase will be hard, but in after that you should be better.
She won't die quickly though; something about that shield. Stay away from your minions anyway, so she doesn't hit you with a Q or mantra Q.
If you get too close and she Ws you, there are multiple things you can do. If there's nothing in the way you can throw your E at her, which will probably slow her enough for you to escape its range by running away.
If you have your ult, though, you can just blink out of its range and blink back - boom, no more tether. Don't attempt to dive her. In addition to her W, she can instantly make the tower target you by eliminating your wave with a mantra Q, and she can also shield herself to make your stay under tower longer than anticipated. If she plays super safe you can just push her into tower and look for roams instead. Dodge those and you should be fine. Mercs is good vs Karma if they have more cc's, but pref sorcs due to her vulnerability to getting solo'd. Her only kill potential is by poking you down heavily go biscuits if needed or by using W to setup a gank for their jungler. Go for all ins if you want but in this matchup your main purpose is just to be the better damage dealer overall which you will.
Besides that play around the map and roam or try to help your jungler since you will vastly win any 2vs2 especially if her empowered Q is on cd. Look to farm and stay healthy so you can kill her with jungler. Go Doran's Shield, she should never be able to solokill you in lane. Always save E for her chain and make sure to account for her shields and movement speed before going for an execute.
Take your time on using R. She makes the game a lot harder for you later on in the game, it's similar to Zilean but not as bad. While she probably will not kill you in lane she can poke you out and make late game hard.
Take TP and hope. Just kinda a pain to play against. Careful for her tether, it's an amazing gank setup. Second wind and dorans shield is a must. She has burst and range plus she gets shield. Max Q, and only go in for trades when necessary. Also, if she decides to Mantra Q you, then you get the free shove. Come teamfights, she will have MUCH more presence in them, as she can shield the entire team.
You have to either kill her or the carries before shields are applied. You can jump a wall on her W animation. IN by resetwice Talon Player. You may be tempted to overplay your lane since you feel like you are against a support but there is absolutely nothing troll about this pick. She has damage, wave clear and movespeed to keep up with the best of mids.
Building normal is acceptable but if you see the opportunity, buying early grievous wounds can give you kill pressure, but otherwise I would just farm up and outperform her in lategame.
Karma should generally not have kill pressure on you and not keep up with you late game but it really depends on the carries that she is buffing up. She spam shoves the wave and support her jungler. Generally speaking you should outperform her as Zilean is a better laner. Watch her tether, as she may be using it to set a gank up. If you walk up too far you get snared and RQ:d instantly, trading back isn't an option either as RW and E nullify your damage entirely.
Farm up and get your mythic asap and get out of lane. Try to go in on her a lot and take your e back before the root goes off. Her poke is annoying but your runes will help a ton. Patch She'll poke you a little bit over the course of the lane. If you just wait for your items you'll kill her instantly. Go for Serpant's Fang because it will negate her shields by a fuck ton.
If you want stuff on laning, dodge her Q's and if you see a good opportunity you can trade with her, but she'll just shield and kite you for a little bit. Try to poke her if you started Tear and just wait it out for mid game. Going up against Karma during the laning phase will be difficult. You'll go corruption potion here and your goal is to survive lane until your jungler ganks your lane.
Survive till then. Doesn't deserve to be midlane, get rid of it. It can be hard to farm under tower due to her strong poke, so you should aim to clear the wave as quickly as possible. Before you Ult her, remember she has a shield ability!

She has a shield, heal and gets tanky. If you can bait out her spells it can be worth trading with her. She will be difficult to even after level 6. Yuki H. She can play very passively or aggressively, which means unless the karma does not know what they're doing it is hard to get behind on this champion.
She may build semi support-like if she is not snowballing, but can also build full AP which makes short trades really hard. Play around her cooldowns; just remember she has a snare and a shield which speeds her up. Also note her ult snare heals her for missing hp, making laning phase tougher than it should. I expect this lane to go right back to being a farm-off that you will use to outcarry the pants off of her in the midgame. Your W really ruins her ability to do anything in the lane if you're careful, so just farm up. Killing her though is difficult through her shield and movespeed without some outside CC. You're much more valuable than she is in an early skirmish. Watch out for her chain. Take comet or conq with taste of blood. Season When she is rooting you is the best time for you to charm her since she will typically overextend onto for the root.
She can also use her shield to mitigate some of your damage so be careful in trades. Just poke her down and kite her. Stand behinds minions and her Q won't hit you. Once you have your ult, you can kill her even without landing your charm. Karma is significantly better in teamfighting, but she can't ever match your waveclear mid-late game and you do more damage.
Stay behind minions so she doesn't hit her q on you, and if she tries to root you with her w just e away. You don't want her to hit you, her burst is pretty strong. Aggressive Azir [Patch Rumbling in the 90s by Dgraider Rumble Player.
Best to try and wait to cast your ulitmate if she is grouped. Besides that she doesnt have that much kill threat but can make your ultimate void. Karma is somewhat gankable, but has high sustain with Corrupting Potion and high burst with AP build. Chances are, you will not burst her out, so play the lane slow, and look for oppurtunities to trade.
